For any seniors who are still in need of a college to attend this fall, here’s some good news. According to the NACAC College Openings Update, there are currently 344 “postsecondary institutions that are still accepting applications from prospective freshman and/or transfer students for the upcoming fall term.”
According to the survey, 66 percent of colleges are private, 34 percent are public. While there are a “small number” of two-year institutions, the update “consists mostly of four-year institutions.”
For a senior who didn’t apply, who was denied by all of their colleges, or who simply wants additional options, this list is a great shortcut to finding schools who will still consider your application. If you don’t need this resource, please consider forwarding it to a senior who could use it.
