Our own Chris LaBounty got some nice press in the South Jersey Times recently for work he’s doing at Salem High School along with our friends at The Princeton Review. Life as an independent counselor can occasionally feel a little solitary (even when we work within an organization like Collegewise), so we jump at every chance we get to head out to local high school campuses and actually work with students, counselors, and administrators.
If you’re a counselor, teacher, administrator, PTA president, etc. and would like to bring some Collegewise advice to your campus, here are a few different ways we can work together:
We’re happy to do a free seminar for students, parents, or faculty. Here’s a list of available topics.
We can also do in-service training for faculty. From training counselors, to discussing college essays with English teachers, to sharing advice on writing letters of recommendation, we can usually offer these 1-hour sessions free of charge (longer programs like that described in the article above have a fee associated with them).
If you’d like to schedule something for your school, just email me and I’ll put you in touch with the Collegewise counselor closest to you (here’s a list of our offices).
Families and faculty can sign up for our free email newsletter.
