It’s been a long wait, but my new book, If the U Fits: Expert Advice on Finding the Right College and Getting Accepted, is now on sale.
My $2.99 experiment
For now, the ebook version is just $2.99. (The paperback version sells for $14.95.) I’m going to increase the ebook price if and when it hits certain sales milestones. $2.99 is cheap even for an ebook, but I’m hoping that will encourage you guys—my blog readers, newsletter subscribers, and other Collegewise fans—to give the book a try and help me build some book buzz. If you like it, tell your friends, spread the word, and maybe a new wave of readers will stampede along. One of the best parts of self-publishing a book is that I can try something (crazy?) like this.
I have no idea how long it will stay at $2.99 because I don’t know how many we’ll sell; it could be three days or three months. The only way to make sure you get it for that price is to grab yourself a copy today.

Thanks, and happy reading
I’m proud of this book. It took me ten months to get here, and the finished product is everything I know about college admissions, distilled into short, easily digestible chapters. I didn’t want to just preach about finding the right colleges and enjoying the process; I wanted my book to show you exactly how to do it. I think it does that, and I hope you do, too. Let me know what you think, and thanks for reading.
