The news on the employment front still looks bleak for recent college grads. If you know any full-time college students, do them a favor and pass along this opportunity. Seth Godin is running a free three-day seminar in New York on July 30, 31, and August 1. From the site:
The three days will be spent on some overview, some conversation and some project work. You'll be presenting to the group, building out hypothetical (or real) plans and doing group work. There will be about six hours a day in my office and another 4 to 10 hours on your own with other students. I want to help you understand basic storytelling, the realities of marketing online, the new economics of the connection economy, simple spreadsheet analysis and advanced communication and bootstrapping skills."
It’s free to attend, but you have to be a full-time college student, you have to apply to get in, and the deadline is July 13. The details and the application are here.
