Last September, I self-published my book, If the U Fits: Expert Advice on Finding the Right College and Getting Accepted. A lot has happened since then. I’ve sold several thousand copies of the book. Jay Mathews of the Washington Post wrote a column about it. And when the CEO of The Princeton Review read it, we started a conversation that led to the next stage for me and for Collegewise.
Today, I put in a request to the distribution service to raise the price of the ebook from $2.99 to $8.99. Requests like that can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks (it’s not an exact science when someone else distributes it), but if you’d like to buy the ebook at the current price, it’s still available at Amazon, iTunes, and Barnes and Noble. The price of the old-fashioned, printed version will stay the same.
For those of you who’ve already bought and read it, thanks for your support. I’d love to hear what you all think.
